The upcoming DLC for Horizon Forbidden West is known as Burning Shores, and it will be coming to PlayStation 5 (sorry to say, it is not releasing on PS4) on 19th April. Considering you now get access to a new type of mount that lets Alloy explore the skies and seas, You can breeze through them if you prefer to focus only on the main story content, in which the game can be completed in 5 hours if you’re in a rush.There had been rumours, but now it's a sure thing. This new expansion adds a lot of logs to read and chests to open. However, your overall playtime will also depend on factors such as the difficulty of the game and how much side content you partake in. If you want to complete everything the Burning Shores expansion has to offer, you could easily spend around 15 hours. There are unique activities to partake in the expansion, which will increase your playtime. There are some who have managed to beat the game much earlier by focusing purely on its main story content.
